Student Wellbeing

We want our students to feel safe, happy and healthy, and enjoy the many aspects of school life.

We place a strong emphasis on building positive relationships and meaningful connections, therefore, our students start their day with Family Start, where they meet with key workers over a healthy breakfast.

Students also take part in a range of daily activities that support their mental health and wellbeing. These include; targeted therapeutic interventions, time with their keyworker and access to a curriculum that has been designed to promote group work activities and support students in feeling connected to the wider Blackpool community.

Our SEN Co-ordinator (SENCO) is Emma Chadwick and our Designated Safeguarding Lead is Melanie Kelsall.
